The Chairman, Liaison Group, Eminent Persons of Ikorodu, Sir (Chief) Engr. Olukayode Shoderu, KJW, has been described as an elder statesman who is committed to empowering the next generation.
The Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Defense, Rep. Babajimi Benson, gave the description of Sir Shoderu, today, while celebrating him on his 85th birthday.

“You are a true elder statesman, dedicated to empowering the next generation in Ikorodu Federal Constituency, through your wisdom, resources, and time.
“Your unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the development of Lagos State and Nigeria, are truly commendable.
“May this milestone be celebrated with good health, sound mind, and many more years of impact and inspiration to come.
