The Chairmanship aspirant for the Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has wished Muslims and Nigerians in general, a joyous and peaceful Sallah festival.
Aroyewun, in a statement today in commemoration of the annual Muslim festival, also charged on the need to extend kindness to others.
“I wish you all the joy and peace that this season of sacrifice, togetherness and gifting brings. May the spirit of love and unity that defines the Eid Kabir festival bring us closer together as a nation and community of great people, and may our hearts be filled with compassion, and gratitude.
“Let us Obey God, remember the less privileged, and extend hands of kindness, just as Prophet Ibrahim (AS) demonstrated in his pious obedience to Allah (SWT).
“Prosperity shall be ours and our country’s. Happy celebration!”, Aroyewun said.
