The immediate past Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Sanai Agunbiade, popularly called ‘SOB’, today, remembered a political leader and an astute politician, late Sen. Adebayo Osinowo (Pepperito).

Agunbiade, who served for 16 years at the State Assembly, worked with late Osinowo when he was also a member of the Lagos Assembly and was also the Chairman of the late mobiliser’s campaign team while he was vying for the Senate.

Osinowo, who also spent 16 years at the State Assembly representing the Kosofe constituency, succeeded Sen. Gbenga Ashafa as the Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District.

Lagos political landscape was, however, shaken when Pepper died on June 15, 2020, as a sitting Senator, at a Lagos hospital.

In a statement commemorating the 4th anniversary of his death, Hon. Agunbiade described the late lawmaker as a great leader, martyr, mobilizer and actualiser.

He said that, though, his late leader may have passed on for some years, he lives in the hearts and minds of those that he touched while he was alive.
