An award of recognition has been presented to Mr Muyideen Sanwo-Ola by the royal fathers and eminent persons in Ikorodu Division.
Sanwo-Ola received the award in honour of his appointment as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Parking Authority, and contributions to the social, economic and political developments of Ikorodu Division.
The award was presented by Bashorun Babatunde Rotinwa, Chairman, Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division (EPID) at the Gbadamosi Conference Room, Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, on Tuesday, July 5, on behalf of the Royal Fathers and Liaison Council of the Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division.
The award was signed by Basorun Babatunde Rotinwa, Chairman, Planning Committee and Sir Engr. (Chief) Olukayode Shoderu, Chairman, Liaison Council.
The award was in continuation of the honour bestowed on eminent individuals for their contributions to the developments of Ikorodu Division, at the 2024 Ikorodu Division General Assembly held recently.
Speaking with THE IMPACT after receiving his award, Mayor Sanwo-Ola thanked royal fathers and eminent persons in Ikorodu, for the honour.
He pledged that the award will gear him to do more for the social, economic and political developments of Ikorodu Division.
Sanwo-Ola, who is also the Director General, iCare Foundation, the operational arm of Rep. Babajimi Benson, also thanked them and entire lkorodu division for their continuous support for the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu and the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson.
