-Pledges to protect their rights
The aspirant for the Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairmanship seat, Mr Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has pledged that his administration will protect the rights of every child, if elected into office.
Aroyewun made the pledge in his statement titled, “For Every Child, Every Right”, commemorating the 2024 Children’s Day.
Every May 27 is dedicated globally for the celebration of chldren.
“Happy Children’s Day to all our jewels in IBLCDA and all over Nigeria”, he said.
“The blossoming of our children is a major sustainable development theme that our society must excel in. This is a necessity for societal glory.
“We must continously care for our children. Our public actions must be devoted to every child, every right. We cannot do too much to provide all ingredients to unlock the door of excellence for them.
“Whilst we live and work for us, we have to live and work for our children – it is a natural trust and we must be true to it!”, he assured.
He emphasised that he will continually ensure that children in his council attain their height in life by providing necessary support.
“We will work for them to reach their full potential”, he said.
“We celebrate them and we celebrate with them today and always”.
