The Kith & Kin Montessori School, Ikorodu, on Friday, celebrated the 2024 Children’s Day, in a vibrant and engaging way. The day was filled with joy, laughter and series of activities that highlighted the talents and enthusiasm of our students.
Children’s Day is celebrated on May 27th of every year.
In his opening speech, the Head Teacher, Kith & Kin Montessori School, delivered a heartfelt opening speech, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and how it aligns with the school’s values. The speech was brief yet impactful, setting a positive and motivational atmosphere.
There were presentations by various classes and individual students.
In the Foundation 1 & 2 presentation, the youngest students represented the class with delightful class presentations. Their enthusiasm and innocence were heartwarming, and their performances were met with applause from the audience.
Students from Foundation 3 and 4 showcased their talents through various presentations. Their performances demonstrated their growing confidence and creativity.
In their own presentations, students from Grades 1 and 2 took to the stage with lively performances. Their presentations were a mix of songs, skits, and dances, highlighting their diverse talents.
Mrs. Omoregbe captivated the children with an engaging storytelling session. Her animated narration kept everyone entertained, while she conveyed valuable moral lessons.
Mrs. Adelusi shared words of advice with the students. She encouraged the children to embrace inclusivity, work hard, and support one another.
Her messages were inspiring and well-received.
Students of the Kith & Kin Montessori School also engaged in dancing competition and other activities.
