Workers’ Day: Senator Abiru Salutes Nigerian Workers’ Resilience In Face of Economic, Social Challenges

The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, FCA, has joined numerous Nigerians in saluting the resilient and ever – dedicated Nigerian workers who are contributing in no small measures to the national developments.

Abiru, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, in a statement in commemoration of the Workers’ Day, also said that their efforts will continually be remembered.

“Today, I celebrate the resilience, dedication, and unwavering spirit of Nigerian workers in the face of challenges. Their labour and productivity are the foundation upon which our society thrives. Our esteemed workers’ contributions are truly invaluable”, Sen. Abiru said.

“There can be no remarkable economic growth without the contribution of workers, and there can be no national development without economic development.Our workers play crucial roles in all we attain as a nation and that fact needs to be recognised always.

“May this day serve as a reminder of their importance, and continuous strive for excellence in all they do. Happy Workers’ Day to all the dedicated and hardworking workers in Nigeria!”, he said.
