The African Church Primate Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Pa Amos Oshin

-Says late religious leader served God, humanity very well

The Primate and head of The African Church, Nigeria and Overseas, His Eminence Julius O.O. Abbe, on Tuesday, visited the home of the late Trustee Emeritus and General Lay, Late Pa Amos Olabinjo Oshin, Jpil., to commiserate with his family on the passage of the religious leader.

Late Pa Oshin, who died at the age of 97, was a notable and influential figure at The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Ikorodu (his Church), Ikorodu Archdeaconry, Lagos West Diocese and the General Conference of the Church, while he was alive.

Primate Abbe was accompanied to the Itunmeko home of the late religious leader, by the Bishop of The African Church, Lagos West Diocese, Rt. Revd. Hezekhail A. Adetoro and other clergymen.

In his condolence message written in the condolence register, the Primate said:

“We deeply expressed our condolences to the entire family on the demise of our Papa Late A.O. Oshin (alias ASIRI – AB0), who was called to the great beyond. Papa was indeed a man who served God with all his heart and also ensured that his entire household did”, the head of The African Church wrote.

“He will long be remembered for his good heart and diligent service to God and humanity. May God show him kindness on the last day and grants him the grace to reign with Jesus Christ as a Conqueror.

During the visit, Primate Abbe comforted the widow of late Pa Oshin and his children, and charged them to be comforted in the good life that their patriarch lived.

He also offered special prayers for the family.


As reported by THE IMPACT on Monday, the burial arrangements for the late nonagenarian, will kick off on Monday, June 3 and ends Sunday, June 9, 2024.
