Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, AMA. Chairman, House Committee on Public-Private Partnership, Lagos State House of Assembly, has enjoined his constituents to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and its blessings, which is love and redemption.
The lawmaker, who is representing the Ikorodu Constituency II, said that the death of Jesus offers eternal life and closeness with God.
He gave the charge in an Easter message to his constituents today which marks the resurrection of Christ after his death.
“Dear Constituents, today, as we commemorate the vicarious resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the profound blessings it brings to humanity. The resurrection of Jesus signifies far more than a historical event; it represents the pinnacle of God’s love and redemption for all mankind”, he said.
“Through his sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death, offering us the gift of eternal life and reconciliation with God. His resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith, symbolizing victory over darkness and the assurance of salvation for all who believe”, Hon. Aro said.
The lawmaker emphasized that the celebrations offer hope, joy and transformation to humanity, while also wishing his constituenmts, especially Christians among them happy Easter Celebration.
“The blessings of Easter extend beyond forgiveness and redemption, they encompass hope, joy, and transformation. In Christ’s resurrection, we find hope for a better future, joy in the promise of new beginnings, and the transformative power of God’s love working in our lives”, he said.
“As we celebrate Easter, let us embrace the profound significance of Christ’s resurrection and its enduring blessings. May it inspires us to live with faith, hope, and love, and to share the message of salvation with all those around us.
“Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyous Easter filled with the peace and presence of the risen Lord. Happy Easter!”, he said.
