Indeed, celebrating JB is a daily business.
If a man composes music like Beethoven, he is a virtuoso. If a man writes poetry like Shakespeare, he is a virtuoso. If a man paints like Michaelangelo, he is a virtuoso. JB is a master of the arts of transformational leadership and governance; JB serves, acts, delivers, and leads just as well as Chief Obafemi Awolowo; JB does politics like my two enigmatic Asiwajus (PBAT and ROB); JB is a virtuoso!
Because we don’t read history enough, we don’t appreciate enough the works of giants like Chief Awolowo. Okay, we can now learn leadership by observation – a proven way to learn effectively. The module is JB: the art of leadership. We will do our best to learn as fast because JB is not slowing down at all. We will be pleased we took the module as the content is rich!
It is true that when the people’s grim is becoming perplexingly reprehensible, JB steps in with his evolving strategies that deliver results. By the very nature of his novel I-Care foundation, existential issues are being addressed. If we think about it, I-Care does more for us than giving. Many a person is inspired by I-Care to care in their various private and public capacities. That’s leadership right there – a leadership of change management, of novelty, of care and support, and of inspiration!
JB is a living public officer who is doing ‘our jobs’ (more than his jobs) well. Even Dr Martin Luther King would have unreservedly done a corrigendum in order to add JB to his famous quote. I agree that JB is a legislative champion. I also agree that JB is a leader per excellence. In my world, JB is a multidimensional charismatic leader.
JB shows why sustained positive actions are the key to brighten up our society and to galvanise enterprise. He does not pass up any chance to facilitate more infrastructure to our federal constituency in the quest to boost our socioeconomic environment. But for JB, we may have become prisoners of fate with respect to the hardships being faced in commuting round our communities. I marvel at JB’s catalog of infrastructure deliveries that many state governors will envy. I sense that JB is a man who feels that if Ikorodu federal constituency is going to get better, then it is going to be up to him to pioneer it. I revere you, Hon Benson, because of your devotion to the advancement of our division, state and country.
Happy birthday to you, JB. Do have a great day, sir.
