The Easter edition for the ‘Ounje Eko’ Discount Food Market will hold on Good Friday (tomorrow) across various designated centres.
Houourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Lagos State, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, announced on her X handle today that the market, which usually holds on Sundays, will now come up tomorrow for the Easter celebrations holding Sunday and Monday.
The market will be opened 11 am and close by 4pm.
“…schools are on holiday, it’s end of month, salaries of most should have been paid and the Easter celebrations are here. We @followlasg come to you this Good Friday instead of Easter Sunday for the 3rd edition of @jidesanwoolu’s Ounjè Èkò initiative with local vendors/prices”, she said.
Food items that would be available at the markets are Rice, Beans, Garri, Bread, Egg, tatase, tomatoes, ata rodo and onion.
