The Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom and former Commissioner for Information, Lagos State, Sir (Otunba) Ayodele Elesho, KJW, has congratulated the Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, FCA, on his birthday coming up on Monday.
In a statement on Sunday, signed by Sir Ayodele Eleso, KJW, and wife, Lady Ayodele Elesho, KJW, the Yeye Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom, the couple said that the residents of Lagos East Senatorial District made the right choice in voting the celebrant as their representative, going by his intimidating profile at the hollow chamber and in his district.
“I am utmost happy to celebrate our own truly Distinguished Senator of the the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, as you clock age 60 in very good health”, Sir and Lady Elesho said.
“Your rising profile and visible achievements, both at the Senate and in our Senatorial District, show clearly that the people of Lagos East does not make any mistake by voting massively for you at the polls.
“We have witnessed unprecedented landmarks in your day to day activities with the hope and prayers that the best is yet to come from you.
“We were not surprised when you were unanimously elected as the Chairman and Leader of South West Senators, due to your exemplary leadership qualities”.
They prayed for more productive years in the service of mankind, for the Senator.
