The Obateru of Egbin Kingdom , His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa (Oba) Dr. Adeoriyomi Oluwasesan Abdul-Akeem Oyebo (arpa, rpa), has been described as an impressive and remarkable monarch in modern history.
A Chairmanship aspirant in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and Prince of Egbin, Mr Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), gave the accolades in a statement, while felicitating the monarch on his birthday today.
The highly revered royal father is indeed a remarkable modern – day monarch, having turned around his kingdom within two decades of his reign, into a reverence and enviable kingdom, establishing both primary and secondary schools from his own personal resources and made them free for residents of his Kingdom which was without any school long before his reign.
He has also facilitated and established many other developmental projects in his kingdom.
“I celebrate my very reputable royal father, confidant and father figure. A man worthy of great honor and reverence, a visionary who, through his foresight, has turned a whole community around”, Aroyewun said.
“Kabiyesi, you are a man to be celebrated everyday because you have etched your name as one of the most distinguished, impressive and remarkable kings in mordern history. You have shown constant love for your community and through your prescience, you have transformed Egbin Community into an Eldorado of some sort.
“On your birthday today, I pray for more grace in your life. I pray God to grant you longevity, peace of mind, good health and enormous wealth.
“We are all proud of you and even more exultant to identify with Egbin kingdom, because of the uncanny ability you have expressed in its transformation.
“Ogbo a to e, Alayeluwa. Oba Egbin kekere, oko ilu bantata. Congratulations sir”, he said.
