Eminent individuals in Ikorodu, have reacted to the swearing – in of the first Justice from Ikorodu Division, to be admitted into the Supreme Court bench, Justice Habeeb Adewale Abiru, JSC.
The Ikorodu – born apex jurist is among the 11 new Justices sworn – in on Monday, by the Chief Judge of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, JSC.
Following the report on his elevation by THE IMPACT, eminent sons and daughters of Ikorodu, while felicitating him across platforms related to Ikorodu division, also sought God’s guidance for him in his new job as a jurist of the apex country in the country.
His Eminence Fadhilat Sheikh Yahya Olorunosebi Oshoala, Chief Imam, Oriwu Central Mosque, commenting on news on Justice Abiru’s swearing-in, said:
“Congratulations to our illustrious son, Honourable Justice Abiru, on this much deserved elevation to the highest Bench of Judges in our land”, the Islamic scholar congratulated Justice Abiru.
“I beseech Almighty Allah (swt) who has always been your guide, guard and source of uncommon favours, never to forsake you, grant you long life, good health and increase you in Taqwah , Ibaadah and your uncountable good deeds.
“May your children surpass you as you surpass your parents.
“UP UP AND UP FLIES THE FLAG OF IKORODU. AJUSE ENI O”, Sheikh Oshoala said.
Aomsh, commenting on the Oriwu Sun platform where THE IMPACT shared the link for the news, said:

“Wishing you more laurels, divine grace, favors, wisdom and abundant blessings”.
Another participant on the Oriwu Sun platform, Dabiri Azeez, commenting, also sought guidance for the newly elevated Justice.
“Congratulations. Almighty Allah will guide and lead you to the right path, In Shaa Allah”.
Jibike Onix, in his own felicitation, said:
“Congratulations, my darling brother/neighbour/friend. Almighty Allah will guide, guard, and be with you. Ameen. Our JSC, Alihamdulilah”.
Alhaji Fatai Abiodun Wahab, former Deputy Chairman, Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), simply stated:
“Congrats, my JSC! More wins”.
Otunba (Dr.) Fatai Olukoga, former Special Adviser on Education and Comrade Kehinde Okeowo, former Chairman, National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ikorodu LG branch, also congratulated the jurist.
