The representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, and the Oriwu Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), have felicitated the Sekumade of Ipakodo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Bashir Aremu Sotonwa.
Rep. Babajimi, in his statement, congratulated the monarch, who retired as a Director in the Lagos State Government service, on his birthday and commended him for his contributions to the development of his kingdom.
“I heartily rejoice with the Sekumade of Ipakodo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Bashir Aremu Shotonwa, on the occasion of his birthday”, he said.
“I commend and appreciate your continuous support and dedication towards the growth and development of Ipakodo and its surrounding communities in Ikorodu Division.
“May the good Lord grant you more years in good health and prosperity on the throne of your forebears. Happy birthday, Kabiyesi!”, Rep. prayed.
In a another statement signed by the President, OCOSAN, Alhaji Muhammed Busariu Soyebo Arole, FNCA, on behalf of the Board of Trustees (BOT), Executive Council and entire students of the premier college in Ikorodu Division, both old and current, also congratulated the monarch on his birthday.
Oba Sotonwa is an alumni of Oriwu College Ikorodu.
“Kabiyesi, it is our pride that one of your revered self, who is an alumnus of our great school, is a monarch sitting on the throne of his ancestors and today, we celebrate and congratulate you on your birthday”, Alhaji Arole said.

“We are proud that you have within a short time of your reign brought about development in your domain and also in lkorodu Division.
