The Eletu of Oke – Eletu, High Chief Adeniyi Ajayi and a Prince of the Oguntade Ruling House of lkorodu, Prince Adesegun Oyefusi, have joined numerous others in felicitating the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, HRM (Oba) Engr. Kabir Adewale Shotobi, on his 70th birthday anniversary.
Oba Shotobi turned 70 years on Monday, with numerous congratulatory messages from the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu, elected office holders, eminent individuals, family members and well – wishers.
In a statement by the Eletu of Oke – Eletu, High Chief Ajayi, on behalf of the royal family and the entire people of Oke Eletu, on Tuesday, he described the royal celebrant as a father of all who is interested in the progress of his children and the community.
He acknowledged the roles and support of Oba Shotobi to many giant strides Ikorodu has recorded in last nine years.
“I hail our royal father, paramount ruler and Alase Ikeji Osa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, on his born day anniversary celebration. It is indeed a worthy time to celebrant a worthy, highly revered and loved monarch”, he said.
“Long may Ayangbure reign in good health, riches, sound mind, capacity and God’s wisdom, to continue to guide his people and community, Ikorodu Division, Lagos State and Nigeria.
“You have truly shown in less than 10 years that you are a visionary, developmental, progressive and 21st royal personae with the level of developments that we have been witnessing, emergence of other Obas and chiefs in our Division, which has never been before.
“Your impacts on education of youths and infrastructural developments are also immeasurable.
“Continue to reign in peace, riches and harmony, my king; our king and God’s ordained King. Congratulations sir!”, High Chief Adeniyi Ajayi said.
In the same vein, Prince Adesegun Oyefusi, a Prince of the Oguntade Ruling Family of Ikorodu and Chief Executive Officer, Colour Party House, Igbe, Igbogbo, has also congratulated the royal father.
In his own message, he said that Kabiyesi has been using his reign to elevate Ikorodu and advance royalty.
“On behalf of my family, and staff of the Colour Party House, I congratulate the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, on the auspicious occasion of his 70th birthday. It is with great joy and happiness that I join our highly revered father and custodian of our traditional values in this celebration”, Prince Oyefusi said.
“Since ascending the throne as the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, our dear Kabiyesi has displayed good, active and visionary leadership in Ikorodu, with his uncommon influence, networking, mobilization and authority.
“I congratulate you sir, as you turned 70 and I pray that you will reign for long to impact more and bring further developments to Ikorodu and humanity in general.
“Cheers to my Kabiyesi on his birthday and wishing you many happy and prosperous returns”, Oyefusi added.
