The Sharon FC of Owutu will face Makbeth FC of Ibeshe, in the first semi – final match of the ongoing 15th edition of the Gafaar Bolowotan Memorial Gold Cup.
The match comes up on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 3.00pm prompt.
The quarter final matches of the tournament, were concluded yesterday.
The tournament, which started last year, is being played at the Police Barracks Playing Ground, along the Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu.
The two teams will trade tackles to determine the first team to qualify for the final of the Bolowotan Gold Cup scheduled to be played at the Igbogbo Stadium which is almost completed.
It will the turn of Right To Smile FC of Ipakan to host Adosaq FC of Ikorodu in the second semi – final match on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the same venue.
The match, which is expected to be another interesting game, kicks off at 3.00pm prompt.
The four teams will be presented new set of jerseys for the semi – final matches as done in the quarter – final matches for the last eight teams.
The two teams that eventually qualify for the grand final match, will go into the history book to have been the first teams to ever played in the new standard stadium if the stadium is eventually made available for the final match.
