The Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), has congratulated the new national officials of the old students’ association of one of the foremost schools in Nigeria, Oriwu College, Ikorodu.
Alhaji Chief Labi Ishola Lemomu, Chairman, OCOSAN BOT, in a statement on Saturday, felicitated the National President, Alhaji Muhammed Busari Soyebo Arole, FCA, and former Council Manager, and other executives who were elected last week.
Also elected are Mr. Oshodi Olakunle (Deputy President), Hon. Olambiwonnu Olakunle Semiu (Vice President), Mr. Tijani Wasiu Olalekan (General Secretary), Mrs. Oladimeji Mutiat Abiodun (Treasurer) and Mr. Wajero Ambrose Olugbenga (Financial Secretary), were also returned unopposed.
Others are Mr. Sholanke Lateef Goriola (Publicity Secretary), Mr. Abari Ibrahim Abiodun (Social Secretary), Mr. Shitta Abiodun Olayinka (Auditor), Ms. Oshodi Olashile Abibat (Welfare Secretary) and Mr. Fatunde Omosola Olawale (Assistant Secretary
“On behalf of Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN) Board of Trustees, I congratulate you all on your newly elected offices”, the statement stated.
“It gives me a great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to all the newly elected Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria national executive council members”, the BOT Chairman added.
Ob behalf of the OCOSAN BOT, Alhaji Lemomu charged the new executives on the need to give their total commitment and dedication to the development of the association, while also expressing his confidence in the team.
The former President also commended the entire members of OCOSAN for imbibing good spirit of sportsmanship during the last Annual General Meeting/Elections.
“I will appreciate your dedication, sagacity and commitment to duties and to the development of OCOSAN”, he said.
“I have the complete confidence in your abilities to succeed in this new capacity. I am certain that you will all be an asset to this association.
“Lastly, I appreciate your response to my personal appeal for elections without bitterness and rancour, that election is Not Do or Die affair.
