Ceaseless commendations have trailed the flag – off of Shodara and Adeyanju Streets that connect the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way and Ogunlewe Crescent, the streets that hosted the Nigerian Immigration Office (Passport Office), Igbogbo, on Friday.
One of such is from a Chairmanship aspirant for the Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) for the 2025 Council elections, Mr Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA).
Aroyewun lauded the federal lawmaker in a statement released on Friday, titled, ‘Happy for One, Happier for Two; Thanks Aplenty, JB’.
“We are overjoyed and happy about the inauguration of the construction of Owolabi Sodara Street road. Our joy became ‘double double’ because the construction of Adeyanlu Street road was also flagged off. This is surely the launch of a potentially vibrant commercial area around the passport office. That’s real transformation!”, he said.
“Hon. JB, thank you so much for giving us forthright leadership – leadership par excellence. May God continue to bless you in manifolds”, he added.
While stating the strategic importance of the road, Aroyewun, who said that the lawmaker is bringing a renewed hope to the people, described this as another wonderful new year gift for the people of Igbogbo.
“The cheering news that Owolabi Sodara and Adeyanlu Street roads, Igbogbo, were flag-off on Friday, 28 January, 2024, represents another wonderful new year gift by our super federal representative, Hon. ‘Jimi Benson (Chairman, Defence Committee, House of Representatives). The strategic importance of this road makes this JB’s gracious action exemplary. As the NIS Passport Office, Igbogbo, plays host to applicants and other patrons, commercial activities around the corridor will open up with opportunities for viable in-street ICT services and trading. Therefore, this proactive action by JB is a deliberate game changer. Please, accept our appreciation, JB!”, he said.
“Dear JB, I am always awed by your inimitable ability to demonstrate leadership plus strategic governance. You always take progressive transformation from theory to practical. Yours is the new actionism that the people want.
“It is only with leaders like you providing practical governance that our renewed hope will be guaranteed. Sir, please, rest assured that the people acknowledge you and pray for you. I urge you not to rest on your oars, sir. Kindly keep your foot on the gas as your actions and leadership are galvanising enduring change”, he added.
Meanwhile, Aroyewun has also charged Rep. Benson on the proposed reconstruction of Igbogbo/Offin/Oreta and Selewu roads. He maintained that people trust him to ensure that the construction also commence on the road soon.
“JB, I encourage you to keep pressing for Igbogbo-Offin Ile-Oreta Road construction. The reports of your giant actions towards delivering the road have been praised to high heavens because the people believe and trust you. There is no argument that you will #SaveOurSoul with respect to that all important, bigger road. Also, sir, the passion with which you are working towards the actualization of Selewu road is gratifying. We have no doubt that your magic wand will soon deliver that very important road”, Aroyewun said.
