-Ikorodu welcomes appointment
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu, has appointed the Director – General, iCare Foundation and a political strategist, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, as his Executive Assistant on Lagos State Parking Authority.
Mayor Sanwoola, who has been overseeing the iCare Foundation, the operational body of the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has been a rallying point for youths in Ikorodu Division and a bridge between the youths and the elders.
The appointee, who is an alumnus of the University of Lagos (UNLAG), Stanford University and Harvard Business School, was a member of Gov. Sanwo – Olu re-election campaign team.
Tayo Odesanya, a public analyst, described Deen’s appointment as appropriate for the assignment due his innovative solutions to challenges.
“Hearty congratulations to our indefatigable Director-General, iCare Foundation, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, on his appointment as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Lagos State Parking Authority”, he said.
“Undoubtedly, Deen is a round peg in a round hole, whose capability, innovative solutions and leadership acumen would bring fresh perspectives and valuable contributions to the development and success of the Lagos State Parking Authority.
“Once again, congratulations sir!”, he added.
Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Ikorodu West LGA, Otunba Lawson, also felicitating Deen, said:

Deacon Monday Ohi Obadan, a community leader and public analyst, also speaking on the appointment, described the latest appointee as capable and team builder.

The State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Olalekan Biliamin Oba, in his own remarks, described the appointment as the biggest news for Ikorodu, while thanking the Governor on behalf of the Ikorodu youths.
“This good news is finally here. Mr Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, gave Ikorodu division one of the biggest good news today as he officially appointed Mayor Deen Sanwoola as the Executive Assistant on Lagos State Parking Authority”, he said.
“With what I know, Deen will bring his wealth of knowledge, team work, efficiency to play when discharging his duties. It’s a round peg in a round hole.
“Thank you Mr. Governor! Ikorodu division Youths thank you deeply sir”, he said.
