-Distributes Xmas relief materials to over 100 residents in Agbala
Dr Adeola Muhydeen Jokomba, the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has charged Nigerians not to despair as the economy will be beneficial to all soon, while also wishing the leadership of his party and members across the state, a Merry Xmas and happy celebration.
Jokomba made the appeal in a chat with THE IMPACT, after his aides distributed food items to residents of his wards in Agbala area of lkorodu, for the festive season.
Over 100 residents benefitted from the food items that he said were supplied to him by the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, and the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Lagos State, Ms. Abisola Olusanya.
“Yes, I just asked my people to distribute food items, including rice, to some of my people in the ward. This is part of our efforts in making sure that food is available to the people to have something to eat for the festive season”, he said.
“Over 100 members of our party and other residents benefitted from what were given to me by Rep. Babajimi Benson and Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya.
“I thank them for the gesture and the opportunity to make food items available to our people”.
Jokomba appealed to residents of Ikorodu, Lagos State and Nigerians at large, to persevere for a little more time as, according to him, the harsh economy will soon be a thing of the past, while urging them to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu, in its efforts to improve the situation.
“While wishing the residents of Ikorodu, Lagos State and entire citizens of Nigeria, a merry Christmas, I also want to appeal to them not to lose hope in the country and be rest assured that things would change for better soon”, he said.
“I want to appeal to them to support the government of APC under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is trying to turn around the economy for better. The current situation won’t last long. There will definitely be a positive change and we are all going to smile.
“Asiwaju is going on economy recovery and he would steer the ship of the country aright. Let us support him and cooperate with government at all levels”, he said.
