It was celebration galore on Tuesday, as family members, residents and friends of Oke – Eletu joined the traditional head of the community, High Chief Adeniyi Omotayo Ajayi, the Eletu of Oke – Eletu, in celebrating the 2023 Agemo and Eleku festivals, also known as Eyibi festival.
They gathered at the Oke – Eletu market square on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, where they wined, dined and danced to good music.
The social gathering was part of the seven days activities marking the Eyibi festival which began on October 21, with ‘Ituworo’ and followed by the Eluku Festival on October 22.
The grand finale for this year’s celebration comes up on Saturday, October 28.
Joining the celebration were chieftains and members of Ayanolu and Sogba Royal families, Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal family of Ikorodu, chieftains of the Community Development Associations, market associations, friends, wellwishers and residents among others.
