Da’Fresh Olorin, a young music act, songwriter and entertainer, is not resting on his oars at all, as he has continued to go into the studio to turn out songs after songs.
This month alone, he has announced two songs, one of which he wrote and released to express his love for his mother on her 50th birthday, and the other one he was featured in after he made input into the original song written by another artiste.
Da’Fresh spoke with THE IMPACT, on the two songs, stating that he wrote the song, ‘Maami’ to express his love and appreciation to his mother whom he described as the ‘rock’ of his family, for her love and for being the pillar of the family.

“I dedicated this beautiful tune to my lovely mother on her 50th birthday, in appreciation of her selfless love and sacrifices”, he said.
“My dear mother, the rock of our family, holds a special place in my heart, that no one else can ever claim. Her unwavering support and boundless love have been the pillars of strength for both my brother and I.
“Through all the twists and turns of life, my mom’s commitment to filling our lives with warmth and love has been nothing short of extraordinary. She stepped into the role of both parents with grace and determination, ensuring that we never felt the void left by our father.
“The sacrifices she has made for us are immeasurable, and her love knows no bounds. It’s a love that can only be described as unconditional, and it’s a gift that keeps on giving”, Da’Fresh added.
The musician, who released the song to mark his mummy’s 50th birthday, also wished her long life and best wishes.
“On her 50th birthday, I want to express my deep appreciation for everything she has done for us. That’s why I wrote the song, “Maami”, which is dedicated to her. It’s a melody that encapsulates the profound gratitude and love I feel for her”, he said.
“I wish her a life filled with good health and longevity. Her presence in our lives is a treasure, and I look forward to many more years of her love and support”.
Speaking on another song he recently announced its release, ‘Detour’, a song he was featured in after his inputs was sought, said that Jacee and Dynamic loved his contributions to the song.
“Jacee originally intended to feature only Dynakid on a song earlier this year. However, Dynakid felt that the track needed a more polished hook. So, Dynakid reached out to me to ask if I could contribute a hook, and I agreed”, he said.
“I received the raw file, wrote and recorded the hook, and sent it back to them. They loved it, and we collaborated to complete the song, ‘Detour’.
