Youths in Igbogbo, under the umbrella of the Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC), has saluted the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa (Oba) Barr. Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, on his birthday anniversary.
Igbogbo youths are joining thousands of others globally, in throwing 55 majestic birthday salutes to the royal father, to commemorate the auspicious occasion today, October 20.
In a statement signed by the IYC President, Comrade Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, the group said that the reign of the monarch has been a source of strength and hope for the residents.
“Today, as the vibrant and united Igbogbo Youth Coalition, we gather beneath the canopy of celebration to pay tribute not just to the day of your birth, but to the extraordinary legacy that graces our beloved Igbogbo Kingdom, under your reign”, the IYC statement said.
“Under your reign, we find an unwavering source of strength, a beacon of unity, and the driving force behind our community’s progress. Your leadership transcends the ordinary; it’s a tapestry woven with wisdom and love, guiding us toward a future brighter than our brightest dreams.
“Your dedication to our kingdom’s growth is legendary. You’ve poured your heart and soul into nurturing our land, our culture, and most importantly, our youths. The hallmarks of your reign are the trails of positive change you’ve blazed, and the indelible mark you’ve left on the hearts of all who have had the privilege to know you”, the statement said.
IYC also wished the monarch a long reign with greater achievements and progress in Igbogbo Kingdom.
“As we raise our voices in celebration today, we also raise our aspirations for tomorrow. Your unwavering support for our education and well-being fuels our drive to achieve great heights. Your love for Igbogbo and your commitment to its flourishing future, inspire us daily”, IYC statement said.
“May this remarkable day bestow upon you the happiness, good health, and unwavering strength you so rightly deserve. May your reign continue to flourish, bless us with your presence and your vision for Igbogbo’s tomorrow”.
