The King Kosoko Royal family of Lagos, has paid a courtesy call on the General Manager (GM), Lagos Television, Olori Adesola Kosoko.
The Kosoko family visited the state owned media facility to officially congratulate the GM, who incidentally married into the royal family, on her appointment by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo – Olu.
Olori Kosoko, who is the wife of Prince Abiola Kosoko, the Oloja – elect of Lagos and the Chief Executive Officer, Origin and Zoo, was appointed by the Governor in August, after serving in acting capacity following the exit of Mrs Siju Alabi.
Prince Theophilus Olojo-Kosoko, speaking on behalf of the family and the Olori Ebi General of King kosoko Royal Family and the Oloja of Lagos Chieftaincy family, thanked the Governor of Lagos State, for appointing Olori Adesola Kosoko as the new GM of LagosTelevision.
He said that the family has no doubt that Olori Kosoko will use her vast experience, professionalism, knowledge of the LTV and connections, in restructuring the organization and bring it back as the darling of every Lagosian.
An outstanding award was presented to the GM in recognition of her service to the station and humanity.
The GM LTV thanked the chieftains of the royal family for the visit and assured the using her knowledge and collaboration with staff and other stakeholders in turning around the station.
She also solicited the support of the family and the general public in supporting the station through patronage
Other chieftains of the family in attendance were: Prince Abiola Olojo – Kosoko, the Oloja of Lagos – elect, Prince Suraju Olojo-Kosoko, Prince Sikiru Adeoye Kosoko, Secretary General, Prince Kamoru Kosoko, Prince Tajudeen Pampam Kosoko, Alhaji Rafiu Kosoko Shittu, Alhaji Tajudeen Crowther and .Elder Oluwatoyin Munis.
