Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, on Thursday, led other government functionaries, staff of the Ministry and representatives of partnering organisations, on a sensitization walk in commemoration of the ongoing World Food Day.
This year’s celebration is themed, “Water Is Life, Water Is Food, Leave No One Behind”.
The Commissioner and other participants, including Mr Rotimi Fashola, Special Adviser on Agriculture and Mrs. Olatokunbo Emokpae, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, embarked on the Road Walk/Sensitization which took off from Olowu Street Junction, Ikeja, through major roiads and terminated at Block 23, Ministry of Agric, The Secretariat, Alausa.
