Days after it was hinted that the body of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba widely known as Mohbad, whose death have sparked controversies may be exhumed for a thorough investigation, the Lagos State Police Command, on Thursday, carried out the act.
It was gathered that the body was exhumed under a heavy security presence at Gberigbe area of Ikorodu, where he was hurriedly buried a day after his death.
Samuel Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer, Lagos Police Command, made the revelation on his X handle.
“Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence”, he said.
Fans and many Nigerians have been pointing accusing fingers at his former record label, Marlian Record owned by Afeez Fashola, also known as ‘Naira Marley’ and a promoter, Sam Larry.
There are also allegations against his wife and members of his family.
There has also been peaceful protest in Ikorodu, Abeokuta, Ibadan and other parts of the country with Nigerians calling for probe into the talented songs writer and singer’s death.
