A former aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has described the duo of Ms. Abisola Ruth Olusanya, the newly appointed Commissioner for Agriculture and Dr. Nurudeen Agbaje, the Special Adviser on Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, as a big wins for Ikorodu Division.
He also stated that the appointees are tested and capable hands to assist the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu, in achieving his administration’s agenda.
Aroyewun said this in a statement that he personally signed in Ikorodu, while also congratulating Olusanya and Agbaje who were inaugurated on Wednesday as members of the Lagos State Executive 2023/2027.
“I congratulate the duo of Ms Ruth Abisola Olusanya and Dr Nurudeen Agbaje, on your appointments as Commissioner for Agriculture and Special Adviser on Rural Development and Chieftancy Affairs, respectively”, he said.
“Your appointments are definitely big wins for lkorodu division, and you have both been tested in your individual spaces and have proven your competence and capacity to perform excellently. Your status as illustrious daughter and son, respectively, of the division is also widely acknowledged.
The young politician, who was a Commissionership nominee from Ikorodu Division in the first term administration of Sanwo – Olu, also said that the two appointees will deliver on the mandate given to them and advance the status of Ikorodu Division among other Divisions and Councils in the state.
“I am very sure that you will contribute excellently to the development of Ikorodu Division and Lagos State generally. I also remain very optimistic that through the mark of intelligence and sterling performance that will be exhibited by you, Ikorodu division’s special status in the scheme of things in Lagos State, will be advanced”, he said optimistically.
