The 2023 edition of the Oro festival in Isiwu in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, southwest, Nigeria, will hold on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
During the festival, women are expected to stay indoor and restricted from coming out, till the next day.
This was confirmed to THE IMPACT by the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba David Olukayode Raji, the Eweye of Isiwu.
Women residing within the Isiwu community and those coming in, are expected to be indoor by Friday night till Sunday morning.
The social gathering where both male and female folks in the community, friends and guests would be entertained, holds Friday, August 10, the eve of the festival.
Ace fuji musician, Remi Aluko (Igwe 1) will entertain guests at the eve gathering.
