The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Builder Sesan Daini, has announced his intention to appoint a caretaker committee to take charge of the Community Development Committees (CDC) in the Council.
Builder Daini who made the revelation on Thursday at the launching of the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDAs food bank initiative aimed at supporting the federal and state governments’ initiatives in cushioning the hardship being caused by the subsidy removal, said that the caretaker committee will be announced today (Friday).
CDC and CDA executives across the state were dissolved by the Lagos State Government few days back.
“As it is, I don’t have CDA or CDC excos and by tomorrow, I will be appointing a caretaker committee”, he said.
“Because of the good work that you are doing, I know that the majority of you will be coming back, especially if that is the wish of your people.
He, however, assured the people that he would not impose any body on the committee.
“I will not impose but support and guide where necessary”, he assured
