The reappointment of Rep. Babajimi Benson and Ms. Abisola Ruth Olusanya, as Chairman, House Committee on Defence and Lagos State cabinet member nominee respectively, has been attracting congratulatory messages from all and sundry.
One of the eminent personality in Ikorodu and the Agbaakin of Ikorodu Division, Sir (Otunba) Ayodele Elseho, KJW, has also felicitated the two prominent Ikorodu son and daughter on their reappointment, describing it as well – deserved.
Sir Elesho, who was also a former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, congratulated the appointees, in separate statements today.
“This is another unique opportunity to celebrate a man of the people, an outstanding Representative of the people of lkorodu Division, Excellent Legislator & Extraordinary Chairman of the Defence Committee of the Nigeria’s Federal House of Representatives, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR”, he said while congratulating Rep. Benson.
“You have excellently done it before & that qualifies you to be appointed to screen the top-most brass of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, before their appointments.
“I am, therefore, not surprised that you have been reappointed to repeat your outstanding performance as Chairman of the Defence Committee of the House of Representatives.

Also, while congratulating Ms. Abisola Olusanya, Sir Elesho, said that her excellent performance as the Commissioner for Agriculture in the first term of Governor Sanwo – Olu, necessitated her reappointment.
“One good turn, deserves another, they said. l am sure that your excellent performance during your first term as Hon Commissioner, is responsible for your reappointment”, he said.
“This new appointment is another serious challenge that you must put in your best so as to ensure your steady progress, politically.
