The Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), has felicitated Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement, IKODASS Chairman, Asiwaju Rotimi Erogbogbo, urged the Muslim faithful to remember those in need.
“IKODASS wishes all Muslim faithfuls a happy celebration this Eid El Kabir. May the blessings of the season not pass you by. May our prayers be answered. May our desires be granted. May our goals be achieved”, he said.
“As you celebrate, in the true Ikorodu tradition, remember your brothers and sisters. Remember the less privileged among us. Remember the elderly. Remember those that are indisposed in one way or the other.
“You may not be able to deal with all their life issues but you can bring a genuine smile to their face today. The joy of willingly being a blessing to others cannot be compared to any other. Indeed, you are not successful until those around are successful.
“The times we live in calls for sobriety, moderation and introspection. Let these be the hallmark of our celebration this season. Happy Eid-el-Kabir”.
