The umbrella body of all youths in Igbogbo Kingdom, the Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC), has again lauded one of its own, Halima Sulaimon, for a remarkable academic feat attained as one of the First Class students at the 26th Convocation ceremony of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Lagos.
The ceremony, which was well – attended by the Visitor to the institution and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu, and other dignitaries, also marked the 40th anniversary of the prestigious institution.
Halimat, who is the daughter of the Chief Executive Officer, Sula Bread and a philanthropist, graduated with 4.68CGPA from the Micro-Biology Department, Faculty of Science, on Friday.
In statement, IYC stated that her remarkable achievement is a pointer to her pursuit of academic excellence.
“IGBOGBO YOUTH COALITION (IYC) celebrates the outstanding academic accomplishment of Miss Halimah Sulaimon as she graduated from Lagos State University with a first-class degree of 4.68 from Micro-Biology Department, Faculty of Science”, IYC stated.
