The premier college in Ikorodu Division, Oriwu Model College, Ikorodu, and the Lagos State Civil Service Model College, Igbogbo, have been listed among the top 15 best public schools in Lagos State.
An online information platform, InfoGuide Nigeria, stated that the schools listed are known for their commitment to academic excellence, character development, and the holistic growth of students.
It also stated that the 15 schools consistently produced exceptional students who have gone on to make significant contributions in various fields.
Other 13 schools are King’s College, Lagos; Queen’s College, Lagos; Federal Government College, Ijanikin; Baptist Academy, Lagos; Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba; Government College, Victoria Island, Lagos; Lagos State Model Junior College, Badore; and Eko Boys High School, Mushin.
Also listed are Government Junior College, Ketu-Epe; Epe Grammar School, Epe; Lagos State Senior Model College, Kankon; Ijaiye Ojokoro Senior High School, Ijaiye, and Surulere Girls Secondary School, Surulere.
According to the report, Lagos State Civil Service Model College, Igbogbo, has carved out a niche for itself by providing quality education, blending academic work with skill development.
In examining Oriwu Model College, Ikorodu, InfoGuide Nigeria, stated that, the school is lauded for its high teaching standards and a conducive environment that encourages students to excel in various fields.
