Kunle Adelabu
The remains of the late former Cathedral People’s Warden of The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Ikorodu, Senior Assistant Brigadier General, Adeyinka Olawale Oyejola, was interred on Friday, June 9, 2023, at his home in Ikorodu.
The special burial service, which took place at The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Aga, Ikorodu, was well – attended by family members of the deceased, friends, church members and associates.
Also in attendance were the Brigadier General of The African Lads & Lasses Brigade and other senior national and Divisional officers.
At the service presided over by the Bishop, Lagos West Missionary Diocese, The Rt. Rev’d. Hezekiah A. Adetoro, the African Lads & Lasses Brigade, an organization which late Oyejola was a senior officer, were accorded time to pay their last respect to the departed officer.
The Bishop also offered special prayers for the widow and children of the deceased.
The Cathedral Church Council and Cathedral Choir, represented by Adelabu Oluwaseyi and Adelabu Olumide, the General Secretary, Church Council and Cathedral Organist/Choir Master, delivered glowing tributes as a mark of last respect for the deceased, during the service.
