The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen Tokunbo Abiru, has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his inauguration as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He also felicitated Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu, on his second term inauguration as the Governor of Lagos State.
In a statement that was issued by the Senator Mukhall Adetokunbo and wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, the couple said that they have no doubt that Nigeria will experience a new beginning under Tinubu’s leadership.
“On behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate our esteemed leader, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces, and his vice, Senator Kashim Shettima, on their swearing in as the 16th Nigerian President and Vice-President, respectively”, he said.
“Asiwaju, I am optimistic that our dear nation Nigeria will experience a new dawn under your watch. Nigerians will once again walk with their heads high as you and your team get to work in your quest to deliver on the renewed hope mandate.
“I also congratulate my dear governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Execeutive Governor of Lagos State, and all governors that were sworn in today. I pray that your tenure heralds greater economic, socio-political development in your respective states.
