Dr Okedeyi Sakiru Abiodun, FNIP, the pioneer Head of Department of Physics, Lagos State University of Education, has been promoted to the rank of an Associate Professor.
The announcement was contained in a release signed by the Secretary of the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP), on Thursday.
Okedeyi was recently inducted as a fellow of the NIP at the just concluded 44th Annual Congress of the institute held at the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).
“The President of NIP, Prof. J.O. Coker, FNIP, on behalf of Council and the NIP members, happily announced the promotion of NIP Assistant Secretary, Dr A.S Okedeyi, FNIP, to the rank of Associate Professor by the Council of Lagos State University of Education, yesterday, 24th May, 2023. We pray for more wisdom and knowledge as you progress in your career. May your pen never goes dry, Amen”, the statement said.
“Congratulations sir”.
Okedeyi is the Financial Secretary, Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG), and member of the Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board (ITHMB).
