In commemoration of the 2023 Children’s Day, Prof. Olanrewaju Shitta Bey, Phd., an Ikorodu – born professor of Humanities and Philosophy, University Maryland Global Campus, United States of America (USA), is set to engage young people on issues relating to importance of growing up and pursuing their dreams.
The session, which will be held online, is tagged, ‘A Day with Olanrewaju Shitta Bey, Phd.’, is powered by Shakirat Enifeni Foundation, a humanitarian and educative platform established to empower the less privileged and assist young people in their development.
According to the convener, the young listeners would be engaged on the topic, ‘Life, Career and Progression’, during the session slated for May 27.
The session is scheduled to hold at 11am (West African time) online (WhatsApp), and it is targeted at young people between the age of 15 and 25.
The session, according to report, is free, but participants are expected to send an email message for registration, and must have an active WhatsApp to be part of the educative engagement with the seasoned scholar.
“Participation is free but participants must be a young person ages 15-25, and must send an email to ‘[email protected]’, with the subject, “A day with Prof. Shitta Bey, and include functional WhatsApp phone number in the body of the email. The Email must be received before or on Friday May 26”, Prof. Shitta Bey said in a chat with THE IMPACT.
He added that the initiative is to engage, educate, empower and entertain young people.
