The representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, and Chairman, House Committee on Defense, Rep. Babajimin Benson, has felicitated his predecessor, Alhaja (Hon.) Dr. Abike Dabiri – Erewa, OON, on her reappointment by President Muhammadu Buhari, as the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
Her reappointment was announced on Tuesday.
Also congratulating the former lawmaker and ace broadcaster, are the Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom, Sir (Otunba) Ayodele Elesho, KJW, and Chairman, Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr Rotimi Akeem Erogbogbo.
“I felicitate a daughter of the soil and my sister, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on her reappointment as the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM by President Muhammadu Buhari”, Rep. Benson said.
“Your reappointment is undoubtedly as a result of your competence, capacity and character.
“May the good Lord crown your efforts and grant you success on the assignment. Congratulations”, the third term lawmaker said.
Also, Agbaakin Elesho, in a statement, said that Abike’s reappointment was due to her years of commitment and dedication to the country.
“I sincerely rejoice with you on your REAPPOINTMENT as Chairman of NIDCOM, being compensation for your past four years of meritorious services to Nigeria & Nigerians”, he said.
“Surely, l need not remind you that, reward for hard work is MORE WORK. I wish you well. Hearty Congratulations”.
IKODASS Chairman, Mr Erogbogbo, in his message, thanked President Buhari, on the reappointment of Abike as NIDCOM Chairman.
He said that the former lawmaker has really performed very well as the pioneer Chairman of the commission which necessitated her reappointment.
On behalf of IKODASS and the entire Ikorodu people, Erogbogbo congratulated Hon. Abike and wish her a successful tenure.
