The former aspirant for the Ikorodu Federal House of Representatives seat, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), QS. AbdulAzeez Awesu, has congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the 2023 Ramadan fasting period.
He charged them to continuously contribute positively towards the development of the country.
Awesu, who also charged Muslims to be tolerant, humble and patriotic, gave the charge in his message today, in commemoration of the 2023 Eid-il-Fitr celebrations.
“I congratulate my fellow muslims across the world, on the successful completion of the fasting period”, he said.
“As Muslims, we need to relentlessly and collectively continue the good work of nation building and be better citizens. And also finding a way to sustain the values of tolerance, humility, honesty and patriotism.
“May the peace and grace of Almighty Allah continue to be with us all. Amin”, Awesu prayed.
