The former Secretary to the Ikorodu Local Government, Comrade Japheth Abolade Odesanya, has assured that majority of the Lagosians will vote to re-elect the incumbent governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide OIusola Sanwo – Olu, in the Gubanatorial and State Assembly elections holding tomorrow.
Japheth, who is the Director, Media and Publicity for the Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA), is also positive that the electorate will go to the poll to vote for Ogunleye Gbolahan and Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), the APC candidates for the Ikorodu Constituencies I and II Assembly seats.
He spoke with THE IMPACT on his expectations from the Gubernatorial and the State Assembly elections, during the APC ‘Motorcades Drive Through’ rally held on Thursday, to mobilize residents to vote for the APC candidates.
“We are moving. I expect victory because Lagosians are sophisticated voters. They know what it means to sustain the APC in power”, he said.
“I enjoin Ikorodu and the entire residents of Lagos to vote APC; vote Sanwo – Olu, and the two candidates for the lkorodu Constituency seats in the State House of Assembly.
“We are winning. Be rest assured, we are winning”, he added.
While commending the APC leadership and teeming members for the motorcade ralky which he said created sensitization, the grassroots mobiliser also charged residents of Ikorodu to improve on their turn out in the last election.
“This is great and it’s a very laudable way to create further awareness for the generality of residents. With this motorcade, all that the residents will be remembering are Sanwo – Olu, Gbolahan Ogunleye and Aro Moshood. Much more importantly, they will be remembering APC because that is the box that they will be voting for l, come Saturday.
“This is very important because this is the time for Lagos to benefit from contribution to the country at large. We cannot afford not to have our party in power in the state when we already have the former governor of the state as the President – elected at the centre.
“We are winning the Saturday’s elections”, he said.
