2023 Elections: APC Mobilises Ikorodu For Sanwo – Olu, OGA, AMA

When APC hit the road for the Presidential and the National Assembly elections held two weeks ago.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ikorodu Division, through the 2023 General Elections Local Government Committee (LOC), is set to once again, staged ‘Motorcades Drive’ across the Division.

The Motor Rally, which is being staged for the Governorship and Assembly elections slated for Saturday, March 18, 2023, will kick off at 9.00am at Sekumade Road besides the Justrite Supermarket, Ogolonto, Ikorodu West Local Council Development Council Area (LCDA) in Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

This edition of the ‘Motorcades Drive Through’ is part of the party’s activities in mobilizing residents of Ikorodu, especially the registered voters for the re – election of the incumbent governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu and the candidates of the party for the Ikorodu Constituency I and II Assembly seats – Mr Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA) and Mr Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA).

According to the LOC headed by Asipa Kaoli OIatunji Olusanya, the APC Ikorodu Constituency I Campaign Motorcade will go through Agric down to the Ikorodu garage roundabout and connects Sabo, Itamaga, and from there move towards Ijede and Gintin, where hundreds of the party chieftains, candidates, party members and residents partaking in the rally, will stop for refreshment.

While at the Gintin refreshment point, the Ikorodu Constituency II motorcade rally, which will kick – off at Aje Street at Imota Roundabout, will move towards the APC secretariat in Imota, Igbokuta Road to Gberigbe, Igbopa/Abule Road to Ile Omi in Ijede and move through the Ijede/Itamaga Road to connect the Ikorodu Constituency l motorcade and consequently unifies and storm Igbogbo and Ikorodu respectively.

From that point, the motorcades will move through the Gintin Road to connect Igbe Laara, Asiwaju Tinubu Road, Meri/Basorun, Oba Molaja Way, Sheriff and through the Ireshe Road connects Oriwu Road, Ojogbe.

Party members and other residents willing to join the motorcades are charged to bring their vehicles or make arrangement to join other vehicles.

They are also enjoined to ensure that such vehicles are adequately fueled for the journey.

The party has also cautioned all participants against reckless driving during the campaign rally.

It would be recalled that the party stormed Ikorodu roads covering the entire Ikorodu Division to mobilize residents for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru and Rep. Babajimi Benson during the Presidential and National Assembly elections held on February 25th.
