-Says Governor has performed
A former aspirant for the Chairmanship of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Prince Adegboyega Samuel Oyebola, popularly known and called ‘Ologijo’, has charged residents of Ikorodu and Lagos State in general on the need to re – elect the incumbent governor, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu and his deputy, Dr Oabfemi Hamzat, in a the forthcoming Gubernatorial and Assembly elections.
He also canvassed for the election of Assembly candidates on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ologijo made the appeal during a chat with THE IMPACT today, stating that Governor Sanwo-Olu deserved another term, in order to continue with various projects captured in the THEMES agenda.
“I appeal to people of Ikorodu and Lagosians at large that we must continue with the politics of progressives. It is important because we cannot afford to go back. More so, that the governor has performed. He must be re – elected to finish projects that he has started and the new ones that he has promised”, Ologijo said while stating reasons the governor must be re – elected.
“In Ikorodu alone, Sanwo – Olu has embarked on a project that will turnaround our division’s economically, socially and politically with the Imota Rice Factory, completed roads and many others ongoing, rehabilitation and construction of school blocks, upgrading of medical facilities among many others.
“Lagos cannot afford to be in the opposition when we already have the candidate of our great party as the President – elect. So, let’s vote for Sanwo – Olu for Lagos to accelerate development with Asiwaju Tinubu as President ”, he said.
He charged residents to come out en masse to vote for the Governor for more impacts.
“This is the time to prove and sustain our votes in the Presidential and the National Assembly elections. I urge our people to come out with their PVCs and vote for Sanwo – Olu. This is a way of proving that we have the numbers and that the government must pay special attention to Ikorodu”, he said.
“Voting Sanwo – Olu with massive votes is in our own interest. Please, let the bus mobilise our family members, friends and associates to come out on Saturday to vote for his re – election.
“While voting Sanwo – Olu, I also enjoin our residents to vote for the Assembly candidates of the APC. They are to work with the governor in bringing good governance to the state.
“If we have almost 400, 000 registered voters in Ikorodu, there is no reason for us not to over 300, 000 coming out to vote on Saturday for our party”, he charged.
Ologijo who is a APC apex leader in Ikorodu West LCDA, also congratulate the President – elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his electoral victory as a well – deserved one.
He said that Asiwaju Tinubu’s administration will usher in development for the country.
