Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s President – elect, has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for winning last Saturday’s presidential election.

INEC’s Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu handed over the Certificate of Return to Tinubu in Abuja.

His Vice Presidential candidate, Shettima Kassim, was also presented with the Certificate of Return.

INEC had earlier today announced Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the presidential election having polled the majority votes and satisfied the requirement, winning 25 percent in more than 25 States.

Tinubu was declared winner with a total of 8,794,726 votes.
