The Chairman, Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr Akeem Rotimi Erogbogbo, has condoled with the Funke Akindele and family over the demise of her mother.
Funke Akindele, who is the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), lost her mother, Dr R.A. Adebanjo- Akindele, earlier in the week.
In a statement signed on Friday, Mr Erogbogbo said that his prayers are with the actress turned politician, and family.
“The Chairman of Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr. Rotimi Erogbogbo, condoles with the Adebanjo and Akindele families on the transition of their daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, Dr. R. B. Adebanjo-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023”, the statement said.
“To lose anyone to the cold hands of death is painful, to lose a mother is even more so. We take solace in the knowledge that heaven knows best and that mama lived a good life.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Indeed, may heaven grant the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Do accept my condolence”, Erogbogbo said.
