The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, FCA, on Friday, February 3, 2023, celebrated an educationist and his Constituency Adviser, Dr (Otunba) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, on his birthday.
In a statement signed by the Senator and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, congratulating Dr Ibikunle, who is the Permanent Member, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, Abiru said that he is proud of the celebrant’s accomplishment.
“On behalf of my family and the people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate my dear brother and a dependable ally, Dr (Otunba) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle (Omoluabi) on his birthday”, he said.
“Omoluabi, I am proud of your outstanding accomplishments as an erudite scholar and seasoned educational administrator with cognate experience spanning over three decades. You are indeed a great asset not only to the Ikorodu division but Lagos State at large.
“In all your public service assignments, you have sustained a tradition of excellence and dedication to service. As a board member, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LSUBEB), you have contributed in no small measure to the development of basic education in our dear state”, Sen. Abiru said.
Senator Abiru also described Ibikunle as a political strategist who has assisted him in delivering dividends of democracy to a large number of constituents.
“As an astute political strategist, and my Special Adviser on Constituency Matters, I specially appreciate you for your unwavering support in my quest of providing greatest good to the greatest number of our esteemed Constituents across the 98 wards in the 16 LGAs/LCDAs of the Lagos East Senatorial District”, he said.
“On this auspicious occasion of your birthday, I join your family and numerous associates and well-wishers to pray that Almighty God grants you your heart desires and gives you good health and vitality as you age gracefully”, Abiru prayed.
