High Chief Alliu Musediq, the Regent/Olisa of Ijede and other Osugbo chieftains leading High Chief Adeniyi Omotayo Ajayi, the new Eletu of Oke – Eletu out of the Osugbo after a successful rite on Monday. In white attires are chieftains and members of the Aniyera Ruling House of Ijede which the Eletu belong to.

It was a massive and successful outing on Monday, January 9, 2023, as the installation rites of High Chief Adeniyi Omotayo Ajayi as the new Eletu of Oke Eletu, began at the Aniyera Ruling Compound and Osugbo in Ijede, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

The new Eletu, who was in all – white attire, first arrived at the Aniyera Ruling House in Ijede where necessary rites were performed after which he paid visit to different sections of the royal compound where prayers were also offered.

In the company of a massive crowd, comprising family members, friends, associates and residents of Ijede, Oke – Eletu and Ikorodu, High Chief Adeniiyi later moved to the Osugbo Abalaye in Ijede where he was initiated as one of the Iwarefas (Kingmakers) and an Osugbo chieftain.

Hundreds of guests were later hosted to a memorable party at Ijede and Oke – Eletu.
