The management of the Ikorodu Ultra – Modern Town Hall, Ikorodu, has honoured the former Commissioner for Physical Planning & Urban Development, Lagos State, Prince Rotimi Ogunleye, with a Merit Award.
Ogunleye, who was honoured for serving for two terms as the General Secretary of the Board, was presented with the award during the inaugural meeting of the board this year, at the Gbadamosi Conference Room, Ikorodu Ultra – Modern Town Hall, at the weekend.
The former Commissioner, who completed his tenure last December, was also the General Secretary of the Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG).
Senator. Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, Chairman of the Board and former Minister for Works presenting the award to the outgone Secretary with the Vice Chairman and General Secretary, Prof. Michael Ajetunmobi and Otunba Wole Odulate respectively, thanked Prince Ogunleye for his meritorious service, and dedication to the development of the town hall.
He wished him success in his future endeavours.
Prince Ogunleye, speaking with THE IMPACT, thanked the Chairman and the entire board for the honour, and pledged his continuous service to the development of the Group, Ikorodu and humanity as a whole.
