Over 100 families in Igbogbo have received food support from the Menzzo Global Entreprises as part of the company’s humanitarian gesture to residents during the Christmas celebrations.
The beneficiaries, consisting of the elderly, widows and others, were drawn from areas in Igbogbo, and each of them was presented with a bag containing rice, sachet tomatoes, groundnut oil and Indomie Noodles, at Menzoo Car Wash, 9, Olayinka Street, off Solawon Street, opposite Ayotunde Schools, Igbogbo, on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Mr Seyefunmi Ogunshola, Managing Director, Menzzo Global Enterprises, speaking on the gesture, said that the distribution of the food items was a continuation of the company’s outreach program, and a way of supporting people, especially those that are in need.
“Well, it’s something that we have been doing as part of our responsibility to the public. It’s our way of giving back to the society that we live and where our business is also located. More importantly, we are in the season of giving and love sharing, so, we are also expressing our love to the people in our own little way”, he said.
“As you also know, there is serious hardship in the country with vast majority finding it difficult to feed themselves and families. To this end, as a concerned individual and corporate body,we deemed it fit to be part of the society because we can feel them. So, we are also giving out these food items to make many who don’t have anything to eat during the festive period, get something to feed themselves and their their families”
He called on other privileged individuals to also cultivate the habit of giving, especially those in need in the respective areas.
One of the programme Coordinators, Prince Adesegun Fatola, while welcoming the beneficiaries, felicitated them on the season, and wished them many prosperous returns.
He announced to them that the Chief Executive Officer of the Menzzo Global Entreprises, had put the outreach program together to give back and support them with food items, in order for them to have something to celebrate with.
He charged them to always pray for the donor so that he can do more because he has the love of the people at heart.
Many of the elderly beneficiaries and others at the event, offered prayers for the Mr Akinsola and commended him for the gesture.
On ground to support the young entrepreneur were: Mr Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), former aspirant, Lagos State House of Assembly, Comrade Kazeem Ogumuyiwa, President, Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC) and Trustee, National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Mr Mutiu and Comrade Kuti Dare, President, National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS) among others.
