The Chairman, Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr Rotimi Akeem Erogbogbo, has felicitated the Ikorodu people on the 2022 Christmas celebrations.
Erogbogbo also thanked the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, residents, corporate organisations, clubs and others for their maximum support which culminated into successive Ikorodu – Oga Day Celebrations and other programmes of the socio-cultural group.
He expressed the group’s felicitation and appreciation in a Christmas message he personally signed and released on December 25.
“No matter what, we have reasons to celebrate. For a very successful 2022 Ikorodu Oga Day Festival, we are grateful. For the over 12000 festival goers who visited this year, we are appreciative”, Erogbogbop said.
“For the unparalleled support we continuously receive from our royal father, HRM Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorusen V, varoius personalities, clubs and corporate organisations, we are thankful. For the peace and safety of Ikoroduland, we are thankful.
“For the manifest hospitality of Ikorodu citizens that continues to reinvigorate tourism in Lagos State, we are proud. For the gift of life, we have reasons to celebrate.
“As we celebrate, let’s not forget the less privileged. Please, be mindful that the best way to celebrate Christmas is to follow in Christ’s step by giving. Merry Christmas, happy celebration”, he said.
